Dakota Wain was diagnosed with R.S.V (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) on her first birthday. R.S.V is the most common causes of Bronchiolitis and Pneumonia among infants. Each year, more than 250 000 infants die from R.S.V.

Dakota was fortunate enough to be diagnosed and hospitalized at an early stage. Although she was discharged from hospital several weeks ago, she still requires expensive medical care, which has put severe financial strain on her family.

The Dakota Rocks Festival has been organized with the hope of raising sufficient funds so that Dakota can continue to receive the best possible care.

The festival will take place on the 11th of August 2007 at the Germiston Lapa, next to Germiston Lake in Germiston (Map to be posted soon) . The Lapa is a secure venue, with plenty of safe parking. All ages are welcome, but ID will be required for bar service.
